The Well Hall Dancers is a gathering of friends on Tuesdays for social dancing. The dances span the 16th to 21st centuries, from prior to Playford through contemporary. Dances are called and taught as suit those attending, from beginners to well experienced. New friends are welcome.

The season is from mid-January to mid-December with no session on Easter Tuesday. We gather at the Bennettswood Neighbourhood House, 7 Greenwood St, Burwood (Melway 61 E6), and, with live music, on 5th Tuesdays of a month at Church of Christ Hall, 1 The Avenue, Surrey Hills (Melway 46 H11). Special EventBruce Hamilton, a noted Californian dance teacher and former president of the USA Country Dance and Song Society, participates in the 6th June session at the Surrey Hills venue.

The Well Hall Dancers display team perform at festivals and celebrations. The team are selected on many years for the National Folk Festival in Canberra at the Easter long weekend.
